REASONABLE WAY TO VISIT NOON NOOCH PARK, PATTAYA, THAILAND

When you are out on a holiday with your kids every penny counts. So much to do, so much to see and so much to buy. What with money conversion your fat pockets soon look like a size zero model.
On our second trip to Thailand we avoided those expensive day tours and moved around on our own. The first plus was we did not have to miss the grand breakfast at our hotel for lack of time as most of the tour operators start early. We were not constantly worried to keep  up with the group and looked around at our pace. Which is so much better if you have children.
A day tour to Noon Nooch Theme park, Pattaya, Thailand is 600-1000 bhat per head approx. Where as you can take a taxi for both ways for as little as 1000 bhat from the central Beach area. A family of four can easily fit in. You can also take a Tuk tuk for 200 bhat. And it can comfortably sit 8 people how ever it is not a very smooth drive. The drivers of both the vehicle should wait for you to bring you back. You must insist on it as getting back can be a problem later on in the evening.
Remember these independent cab and tuk tuk drivers get benefit in the form of fuel or cash card for bringing tourists to these places just like the tour operators. So they should happily agree to a fair price.
The entry fee is 400 bhat for an adult and 150 bhat aprox for a child under 12 years. This includes the elephant show and the cultural show.
We started our day with the elephant show. Amazing tricks by these elephants made me wonder how difficult it must have been for the elephants to learn them. From basket ball to playing with rings they did it all to an International audience amongst which there where many kids who were enjoying the most.
After each act the elephants came over for a Banana treat to the audience. Every one enjoyed feeding these giant babies.
We took a specially appointed drive that took us all over this huge garden for a look. It stopped at strategic places for every one to enjoy the view.
Notice  the terracotta garden here. This reminded me of Durga Puja of Kolkata only these are not taken off ever.
A closer look.
There were such places to sit and relax looking at nature in its glory..!
                                                                               Let us zoom in.

Some of the plants were exotic and most of the garden was planned with so much detail.
One such place was ant garden, beautiful and very unique.
                                                                          Kids just loved it.
You could get your own for 120 bhat.
The garden is highlighted amongst all the activities. A pleasant weather called for a sky walk where by one can see the view from atop a high rise way.
A car collection was a pleasant surprise.
                                                                               WOW
So many to see and none to take home. Sulk..!
The cultural show was so colorful and rich in presentation. It looked like a Golden dream to me.

The costume, the makeup and the props all matched to perfection.
The performers were young and athletic and danced with so much grace leaving us breathless.
The traditional Thai kick boxing was staged too with plenty of action, fun and frolic..! There were professional jokers thrown in for entertainment.
One could take pictures with the elephants after the show by paying 50 bhat...!
Or one could go on an elephant ride too.
There were exotic birds you could pose with for 50 bhat.
While Mommy Tiger slept on that lazy afternoon~
I stole a picture with the little cub :-)
